UM Charles Regional Nurses Shellee Stine and Teri White Honored

Baltimore, Md., April 29, 2025 — The Daily Record has selected Shellee Stine, RN, coordinator clinical programs, and Teri White, RN, transition nurse navigator, of University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center as 2025 Health Care Heroes. Stine was honored as a Nurse of the Year and White earned a Community Outreach award.
As home to several renowned medical and federal institutions, Maryland is a national leader in health care research and development. The Daily Record's Health Care Heroes Awards honor those individuals and organizations who have made an impact on the quality of health care within the state. The winners were selected by the publisher and editors of The Daily Record.
Health Care Heroes are presented in the following categories: Lifetime Achievement, Advancements and Innovation in Health Care, Community Outreach (individual and organization) Mental Health Hero (individual and organization), Nurse of the Year, Nurse Practitioner of the Year, Physician of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Workplace Wellness Program of the Year.
