Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics is an Open, Step Program, a part of the Washington Area InterGroup Association (WAIA) for DC, Montgomery, and PG Counties (Area 13). A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Sundays at 7 p.m.


Open to the public and listed on the Washington Metro Area Al-Anon/Alateen website. Helps families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

Bipolar Support Group

Our mission is to promote self-advocacy and healing among people diagnosed with mood disorder through peer support, personal growth, and community involvement. Together we improve self-esteem, share lived experiences and nurture wellness and recovery. Find out more at

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

An event every week that begins at 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in conference room A/B. This event is open to the public and listed on the website. Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women from whom drugs had become a major problem and for recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other remain drug-free.
