Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics is an Open, Step Program, a part of the Washington Area InterGroup Association (WAIA) for DC, Montgomery, and PG Counties (Area 13). A fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

Al-Anon

Open to the public and listed on the Washington Metro Area Al-Anon/Alateen website. Helps families and friends of alcoholics recover from the effects of living with the problem drinking of a relative or friend.

Bipolar Support Group

Our mission is to promote self-advocacy and healing among people diagnosed with mood disorder through peer support, personal growth, and community involvement. Together we improve self-esteem, share lived experiences and nurture wellness and recovery. Find out more at onourownpg.org

Nar-Anon

Meets every Monday 7:00 p.m. Information and resources for the friends and families of drug addicts and substance abusers.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA)

An event every week that begins at 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays in conference room A/B. This event is open to the public and listed on the NA.org website. Narcotics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women from whom drugs had become a major problem and for recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other remain drug-free.
