Rebuilt from the ground up to bring enhanced care to the heart of Prince George’s County, the cardiac surgery program at UM Prince George’s Hospital Center has received training with one of the nation’s best cardiac surgery programs, and an exciting new model of care is delivering superior outcomes to county residents.

Led by Jamie Brown, MD, director of cardiac surgery at UM PGHC and associate professor of surgery at University of Maryland School of Medicine, the cardiac surgery team is highly skilled and experienced in a range of surgical procedures, including:
