Ear exam

Otolaryngology, also called Ear, Nose and Throat or ENT, is a specialty that treats conditions of the head and neck. ENTs treat everything from dizziness to ear infections to sinus infections and severe sore throats.

UM Capital Region Health Medical Group’s ENT program is under the direction of Dr. Kirk D. Williams who is board certified in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Williams is the Medical Director of Ambulatory ENT Services for the Medical Group and sees patients in our Bowie office. He treats the full range of conditions that affect the head and neck:

In addition to conditions of the ear, nose and throat, Dr. Williams also treats other conditions of the head and neck including the thyroid and parathyroid, benign and malignant tumors of the throat and tongue and facial trauma. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures such as image-guided endoscopic sinus surgery.
