UM Capital Region Health Advisory Boards
The University of Maryland Capital Region Health (UM Capital) Board of Directors is seeking individuals who are interested in serving on a volunteer community advisory board (CAB) for UM Bowie Health Center or UM Laurel Medical Center. The CABs are responsible for gathering community input and making recommendations to the UM Capital Board of Directors regarding clinical and other services provided at these facilities. Each of the CABs will be comprised of a diverse, representative group of 7 community leaders who reside in and/or have a strong connection to the geographic area surrounding the facility. A chair for each body will be appointed by the Chair of the UM Capital Region Health Board of Directors, Judge Alexander Williams.
Members of the community who are interested in serving on one of these Advisory Boards should complete the application form below and submit it for consideration by the UM Capital Board of Directors no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
Capital Region Health Community Advisory Boards seeks a diverse, representative group of community leaders to serve on the following UM Capital Region Health community advisory boards:
- UM Bowie Medical Center
- UM Laurel Medical Center
- 7 members each
- 4-6 meetings per year
