Healing Garden

The UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center Healing Garden, located behind the Tate Cancer Center, was designed as a relaxing and green environment for patients, visitors and employees to enjoy year-round.

The garden includes hillside vistas, a stream, benches and a reflecting pool. The garden walkway features bricks inscribed with inspirational messages and the names of patients and donors. While visiting the garden, visitors can admire the landscape, search for a friend or family member's name on one of the inscribed bricks, sit on a garden bench, and write messages into a community journal.
