Our team of prostate cancer experts will oversee the details of your medical care and provide support to you and your family. The highly-trained staff is committed to helping you through your journey from start to finish.

Urologist

The urologist performs biopsies, makes the diagnosis and is the primary specialist who will work with you and discuss your treatment options. If surgery is needed the urologist will perform the procedure but he or she may be involved in other therapies such as radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, treatment of advanced disease and clinical trials.

Radiation Oncologist

The radiation oncologist specializes in the application of radiation to destroy cancer cells. Both external beam radiation (delivered through a device called a linear accelerator) and brachytherapy (seed/pellet implantation) are guided by a radiation oncologist.

Medical Oncologist

The medical oncologist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of cancer using medications, whether administered orally or intravenously. Medical oncologists offer a range of treatment options including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other systemic treatments.

Clinical Trials

Clinical trials can offer state-of-the-art treatments to patients before becoming FDA-approved treatment options. We offer a number of clinical trials in various disease settings for prostate cancer patients. A trial may not only offer the best treatment option, but also allows patients the opportunity to contribute to the scientific understanding of this disease.
