Shore regional Medical Center in Easton

UM Shore Regional Medical Center - Easton

Opening in 2028
On October 21, 2024, University of Maryland Shore Regional Health broke ground on their next rural health initiative: UM Shore Regional Medical Center in Easton. This 230-acre facility will combine cutting-edge technologies and advanced medical expertise to provide equitable health care access to residents in a 2,000-square-mile region.

The new facility will house multiple core programs, including a cardiac intervention center and neurosciences and women's services. Learn More

Stoler Center for Advanced Medicine

UMMC Stoler Center for Advanced Medicine

Coming 2025
The Roslyn and Leonard Stoler Center for Advanced Medicine will be the new home of University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center (UMGCCC). It will enable the cancer center to offer more innovative, collaborative services to meet the ever-growing needs of patients across Maryland.

The new facility also will double the cancer center's footprint and create an all-new main entrance for UMMC's downtown campus, transforming the face of the academic medical center. Learn More

UMMS Logistics Center

The 400,000-square-foot Logistics Center at Tradepoint Atlantic in Baltimore County serves as a centralized hub for supply chain, pharmacy and clinical engineering operations. It is designed to address supply chain challenges, optimize care delivery and streamline operations to ensure essential resources are always available to support world-class patient care.

UM Urgent Care Pasadena and Glen Burnie

To expand access to care, we're opening more urgent care centers at locations across Maryland, enhancing convenience for our communities. These facilities provide timely treatment for non-emergency health needs, helping to reduce emergency department volumes and ensure critical resources are available for urgent cases.

Urgent care centers serve as a bridge to primary care, encouraging patients to establish ongoing relationships with primary care providers for long-term health management. Learn More

Center for Advanced Medicine in Largo

UM Capital Region Health Center for Advanced Medicine

Opened 2024
The University of Maryland Capital Region Health Center for Advanced Medicine houses a wide range of medical services, including cancer, heart and vascular, neurological orthopedic, pulmonary, and women's health care.

The facility is home to The Cancer Center at UM Capital Region Health, where specialists provide advanced treatment for common and rare cancers in one convenient location. The center provides greater access to cancer screening for earlier detection and better patient outcomes. Learn More

UM Upper Chesapeake Bel Air Bed Tower

UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center - Bel Air | Bed Tower Expansion

In early 2024, University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air celebrated the grand opening of its patient bed tower. Part of University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health's transformation of health care delivery in Harford County, the tower advances our commitment to improving patient care in the community.

Sitting atop the Kaufman Cancer Center, The tower has over 70 patient beds, multiple double-occupancy rooms and a floor of shell space for future growth.

UM Upper Chesapeake in Aberdeen

UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center - Aberdeen

UM Upper Chesapeake Medical Center - Aberdeen is a modern and compassionate transformation of health care for the Harford County community. The facility has a state-of-the-art emergency department designated for acute-stroke and sexual assault care as well as a compassionate Behavioral Health Pavilion for patients needing mental and behavioral health services.

This campus is also home to the Lambdin Health and Wellness Center, which opened in 2023. The center provides primary and specialty care, including cardiology, hematology and oncology, wound care, and orthopedic services. Learn More

ER at UM Charles Regional Medical Center

UM Charles Regional Medical Center Emergency Department

University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center's newly renovated Emergency Department is the latest example of the hospital's constant evolvement to meet the changing needs of a rapidly growing community.

Equipped with advanced technology, the renovated ED is a large step toward better care and an improved patient experience. It has additional beds, a larger waiting room, a new waiting area specifically for awaiting test results, a second triage station (for swifter patient flow during peak hours) and negative pressure rooms (to isolate patients with infectious diseases). Laurel Medical Center

In June 2023, University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center (UM LMC) opened its doors. The state-of-the-art facility is part of a multi-phase plan to enhance and streamline patient care and be a premier health and wellness destination.

UM LMC offers comprehensive services including 24/7 emergency care, behavioral health services and a surgery center. It promotes UM Capital Region Health's mission to increase the focus on outpatient services while ensuring patients receive the inpatient care they need. Learn More

Medical Pavilion at Cambridge

UM Shore Regional Health at Cambridge

Opened 2021
The opening of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health in Cambridge marked the beginning of a new era of expanded access to quality health care services for Dorchester County residents.

This state-of-the-art facility consists of two floors. The first floor is a comprehensive, freestanding medical facility that includes a 22-bed emergency department, a helipad and behavioral health treatment rooms. The second floor houses the UM Shore Medical Pavilion at Cambridge, which provides convenient multispecialty care and expanded outpatient services to the community. Learn More

Rehabilitation Hospital of Bowie

Opened 2023
The Rehabilitation Hospital of Bowie, a joint venture between Encompass Health and the University of Maryland Medical System, brings advanced inpatient rehabilitation services to Marylanders. It opened in June 2023. The 60-bed facility in Prince George's County helps patients recover from strokes, brain injuries and other conditions, offering expert nursing care and therapies.

Combining UMMS' community focus and Encompass Health's national expertise, the hospital enhances access to high-quality care, supporting residents in regaining independence and improving quality of life.

UMMC Midtown

UMMC Midtown Tower

Designed to meet the needs of patients with multiple and complex health problems under one roof, University of Maryland Medical Center at Midtown's Outpatient Tower opened in September 2021.

In providing collaborative and streamlined care inside a 10-story building, leading experts from different specialties promote the holistic wellness of patients, employees and surrounding communities. Bringing experts involved in a patient's care together at one location keeps the patient from going to different, distant locations and leads to better health outcomes. Learn More

UM Capital Region Medical Center in Largo

Since opening in June 2021, University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center has been committed to improving the health of the Prince George's County community. It promotes increased, convenient access to ambulatory and specialty care services and health education programs that further help patients manage their conditions.

UM Capital boasts heart and stroke care centers, a Level II trauma center, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services, a designated floor for women's and infants' health, and more state-of-the-art features. Learn More

Klein Family Center

The Klein Family Center provides 24/7, personalized care for patients needing mental health care and addiction services. A partnership between University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, the Harford County government and local stakeholders has allowed the center to increase its offerings, which include a walk-in urgent care clinic and outpatient clinic and residential care services.  Learn More
